The moon is a natural satellite

The moon is 4.5 billion years old.

There is no air to breathe, no wind, no rain, no weather on the moon because there’s no atmosphere.

The moon goes around the Earth every 27 days, 7 hours,  43 minutes and 11 seconds.

GIBBOUS Waxing and Waning moon mean more than half of the moon is illuminated and therefore visible.

This complete orbit  is called a Lunar Month which comprises the 4 phases of the moon. The phases of the moon are:
