Time Zones

TIME ZONE is a division of time based on the Earth’s rotation and the sun’s path.

Different places on Earth have different time zones.

A time zone is a region of the globe that keeps a uniform standard time.

Every 15 longitudinal degrees, the time changes by an hour, creating 24 time zones around the world.

The system generally adopted is based on Greenwich Mean Time(GMT)

If you don’t remember the lesson about Longitude and Latitude you first should go back to it. and then you’re going to understand better what TIME ZONES are all about.

Learn and go with the flow to get where you want to go
